WHO Crowns Onitsha The Most Polluted City In The World


According to data collected by WHO between 2011 t0
2015, Onitsha, Anambra state is the World’s Most
Polluted City as air quality data collected there are
nearly twice as bad as notoriously polluted cities
(Kabul,Tehran and Beijing) and 30 times worse than that
of London.


Being a tropical city, Onitsha has over 1 million people
residing there with no proper waste disposal methods,
heavy traffic with low quality fuel coupled with emission
of poisonous gases.
