Wizkid is definitely one Nigerian artist that has
prospects to hit it big in the International market.
Drake jumped on Wizkid’s single ‘Ojuelegba’ in July
2015 and a few months down the lane, Drake decided to
work with Wizkid for a song off his album ‘ Views’. The
song they worked on together ‘ One Dance’ featured
Wizkid and Kyla and makes it Drake’s 17th song to
reach top 10.
The song ‘ One Dance’ moved from No.3 on Billboard’s
Hot 100 Chart to an impressive No.2 and is most likely
to reach No. 1 before the week runs out.
Drake has been at the number one spot twice courtesy
of previous collaborations with Rihanna. If Drake’s ‘ One
Dance’ reaches number one, Wizkid would be the first
Nigerian artist to have reach the number one spot on
that chart.
