After revealing in January that he could leave the Blues,
a new one-year deal has being offered to him,this which
was revealed in Interim Coach, Guus Hiddink’s press
conference today.
However, no agreement has been made on this new
deal, the defender is committed to a further year at
least, having admitted on Monday that he would like to
spend a few more years at Stamford bridge.
